Day 5

You cannot make this up..two cards popped out before I even finished shuffling today.

TAMAS and MANIPURA (Solar Plexus Chakra). Seeming opposites. One representing stillness the other empowered. It’s time to emerge from your cocoon. Stillness means nothing without action. Intention guides your focus, but movement is required. We can have good intentions, but without actions…nothing changes.

This is why I say, just step on the mat. The yoga will work. In teacher training I’m often asked how to get beginners to come back, as I’m known for being a beginner whisperer….and my answer, just get them to come back. No matter what, without action…consistently, it won’t work. You can start over on monday, next year, however many times you need to, but utilizing your empowered self will give you a different result. My recipe for getting beginners or “new to yoga” people, or self-proclaimed “not yoga people” to fall in love with the practice…? Eliminating the friction in the beginning. It’s easy. Friction makes things hard.

What’s the friction in your life you keep rehashing, re-looping? Sit in stillness today and intentionally think about it…then fuel up your Solar Plexus chakra and do something about it. It doesn’t have to be big, micro shifts in energy can create macro results.

You got this. You can do incredible things when you realize..the mountain is you. No one is holding you back, except you…not moving.

The law of physics even state it, a body in motion..stays in motion.

Here’s your key to stop waiting for the right moment, the right answer, the right thing..and do something, with greater intention.

I cherish you for joining me on this journey.

ILY,

BIG.

always & forever,

Ps. As always. I’d love it if you shared your reflections in the box below.
